Pie Spot

Today I visited Pie Spot on NE 24th and Glisan for their pie-crust cinnamon roll!  This roll had a great look, with a frosted glaze covering the top. Pie spot has mastered their pie crust and the bread on this roll was delicious. However, after crunching through the outer layer, I didn’t taste much cinnamon and found the frosting to be overly sweet. Once I dug in, the middle became more moist; I could taste the cinnamon and I found myself searching for bites with as little frosting as possible to enjoy that bread and cinnamon flavor!

Favorite part: the dough! So freakin’ good.

Least favorite part: the frosting! Way too sweet.
