Annie’s Donuts

Today I visited Annie’s Donuts on NE Sandy and Fremont in Roseway for their cinnamon roll! I hadn’t considered donut shops when I started this project, but I got a great tip from the amazing community over on Reddit, and called up Annie’s and they had one! I love that this place hasn’t changed a bit since I was a kid, and the couple running it was super sweet and funny this morning. I got home and pulled this one out and had to laugh- what does this look like to you??? I’m trying to write this review without using the word that this donut obviously looks like- because it didn’t taste like butthole! But it also didn’t taste like cinnamon roll, lol! If you look close, you can see the spiral shape is there, and in the hole you can see some cinnamon…. but this is a simple glazed donut. A yummy glazed donut, but not even close to a cinnamon roll.

Favorite part: Nice fluffy glazed donut that made me laugh

Least favorite part: Not even close to being a cinnamon roll
