Banquette

Today I visited Banquette on SE Madison and 10th for their cinnamon rolls! I hadn’t heard of Banquette before starting this cinnamon roll fiasco, but I was absolutely dee-lighted walking into this super cute space, a block down from the Asylum food carts. This is a newer bakery, just opened October 2022, and they only have cinnamon rolls on Saturday mornings. Seriously- get your ass out of bed and down there on a Saturday morning because these rolls are amazing! Very close to perfect, the brioche is baked so well, dark brown and caramelized on the bottom and fluffy inside. There’s tons of cinnamon sugary goo inside, and that frosting! Not too sweet, with a gooey center, this cinnamon roll checks all my boxes. We also tried the London Fog Cream Puff and it’s out of this world! This place wont be a secret for long.

Favorite part: The bread on these rolls with tons of cinnamon gooooooooo

Least favorite part: They’re only open Thursday through Saturday, so I can’t go again Sunday morning.
