Fleur de Lis Bakery & Café

Today I visited Fleur de Lis Bakery in Hollywood on NE 40th and Hancock for their cinnamon roll! This is a cute little cinnamon roll, with an icing glaze that looked to seep down between each layer. At first bite I was immediately hit by the strong spicy cinnamon flavor and it was a surprising delight! This roll has more spice and flavor to it than almost any other cinnamon roll I’ve tried, and I really enjoyed that. There are probably other spices involved, but I’m no chef, no idea what else was going on here, but it was quite good. The other elements were good, bread was good, the icing was fine - just a bit too sweet, but the cinnamon spicy flavor was the star! I wanted to take a few more pictures, but I ate it too fast, whoops!
