Sweet CoCo G

Today I visited Sweet CoCo G on SW Macadam for their cinnamon roll! I arrived right as they opened at 8 and there was a fresh tray of glistening, unfrosted rolls waiting for me! They offer these cinnamon rolls frosted or unfrosted and I am very glad that I opted for their cream cheese frosting (as it ended up being the best part of the roll). This was a very good-looking classic cinnamon roll, but when I dug in, all I found was bread bread bread. There was a nice hint of cinnamon to the breadbreadbread, but it was dry all the way to the center, and I was using the frosting to help liven-up a fairly bland roll. The frosting was a bit sweet (but tasty!) and the bread was well-made, but the roll didn’t come together to a tasty cohesive whole.

Favorite part: Cream cheese frosting saved the day!

Least favorite part: It’s very dry in Bread City.
