Jim & Patty’s Coffee

Today I visited Jim and Patty’s on NE Fremont and 50th for their cinnamon roll! They don’t make cinnamon rolls every day so I called ahead and they made a special batch for me, and were incredibly nice to me this morning. The cinnamon rolls here are HUGE! Honestly I was a little worried these would be too dry and bready, but the brioche is actually very well made and melts in your mouth. The frosting was a bit sweet but had a touch of vanilla that was nice! The only drawback was that I could have used more cinnamon, it was mostly a delicious brioche with frosting and a hint of cinnamon, if they filled it up with more of that caramelly cinnamonny gooey-goo I would have fallen in love, but this is otherwise a super tasty (and filling!) cinnamon roll.

Favorite part: The brioche dough is surprisingly delish!

Least favorite part: Not enough cinnamon streusel
