Sarah’s Cookies

Today I visited Sarah’s Cookies out on 105th near Airport Way for their cinnamon roll! This was a really fun experience for me; Sarah’s Cookies is mainly a wholesaler (supplying Zupan’s with cinnamon rolls, among others), but they had me out to their bakery and warehouse for a pick-up and it was seriously so much fun! I met thee Sarah, and her daughter was decorating cookies, and they were SO nice. I got a little tour and they whole place smelled like delicious pastries! I was hoping I would like their cinnamon roll as much as them, and oh. my. god. They make their cinnamon rolls two ways- with regular icing and with cream cheese frosting (I ordered one of each). These are up there with the very best cinnamon rolls in town! The brioche is incredible- melts in your mouth, soft and buttery and delicious. The frosting wasn’t too sweet and had dripping in-between the layers and mixed with the cinnamon and made them gooey, yummy and just about perfect. My wife commented- “now THIS is what a cinnamon roll should taste like!” These are big rolls, so I ate mine in two sittings, but I loved every minute of it.

Favorite part: The brioche is melt-in-your-mouth delish!

Least favorite part: Hmmmmmm
