Blossoming Lotus

Today I visited Blossoming Lotus on NE Broadway and 15th for their cinnamon roll! They offer this vegan cinnamon roll during their brunch on the weekends, and I was first in line this morning! I’ve had all of the other vegan options in town at this point, and this one ranks as one of the very best. The bread is a little dense, but super good. When I first dug in I didn’t detect much cinnamon in this one, but man oh man, that frosting is SO good. It’s got a brownish tint, which made me think the cinnamon might be in the frosting? As I traveled towards the center of the roll, the cinnamon was a little more apparent… but this one really doesn’t have much cinnamon flavor. It’s mostly a killer pastry with yummy frosting, and I would get this one again in a heartbeat! Are all of Blo-Lo’s sweets this good?

Least favorite part: They should up the cinnamon!
