Koop Kitchen

Today I picked up an order from Koop Kitchen of a batch of their cinnamon rolls! This was a recommendation from one of my great followers on Instagram! George Koop runs an online store and pop-up kitchen, and was SO nice when I picked up this tray of freshly baked rolls this morning. He is clearly a highly trained baker and the brioche dough here is top notch. The bread was really the star: pillowy, melt-in-your-mouth bread that didn’t feel overpowering or dry. The frosting was excellent, hints of cream cheese and vanilla but not too sweet. There wasn’t much of that cinnamonny-gooeyness but the cinnamon flavor was still very present and you could smell it in the air! There was also a touch of salt that was a great touch! Highly recommend checking out his website and pop-ups around town!

Favorite part: The brioche dough ! Couldn’t get enough

Least favorite part: It was hard to find fault with these amazing rolls, but maybe the frosting was a bit sweet?
