Posies Café

Today I visited Posies Bakery and Café in Kenton on N Denver and Kilpatrick for their cinnamon roll! I had called ahead to make sure they still had a cinnamon roll and when I got to the café they already had this big-boy jammed into a little to-go box. When I got home, the roll popped out and it looked like a whole loaf of bread! This roll was WAY too much bread, without any gooey cinnamon flavor. The frosting was basically just cream cheese, and it tasted kind of like if you put cream cheese on an untoasted bagel, the result is kind of gluey and not very tasty. I found this roll hard to swallow without a glass of water! I was a bit disappointed because Posies used to be my neighborhood café back when I lived in Kenton and I love their baked goods! Unfortunately their cinnamon roll is a dud.

Favorite part: They were super nice to me at the café!

Least favorite part: The breadyness mixed with the cream cheese was difficult to eat.
