Shoofly Vegan Bakery

Today I visited Shoofly on SE 11th and Division for their cinnamon roll! These cute little rolls looked like they were baked in a cupcake tin, but were tall and smelled amazing. When I got home I tore in, and it was quite delicious! The brioche is very good, with a lot of flavor and moist. There was a lot of cinnamon caramelly gooeyness along the bottom and when I reached the center it was heavenly! The icing was more of a royal icing flavor and pretty sweet, but it didn’t detract too much from this roll. All the elements came together and, I have to say, this was a very solid cinnamon roll. I was glad that it wasn’t too large and I ate the whole thing easily. I will absolutely order this one again!

Favorite part: The brioche was delicious!

Least favorite part: The icing was a touch too sweet.
