P’s & Q’s Market

Today I visited P’s and Q’s Market on NE 13th and Dekum for their cinnamon roll! And… WHOA- now we’re talking! This cinnamon roll is the best one I’ve had so far. This is the first roll that was warmed up for me (no one has offered so far), and it made the frosting and gooey buttery sugar inside melt together and I wanted to bury my face in it! The frosting was good, the cinnamon very present and the bread was top notch. My only real criticism would be that the frosting seemed to be more condensed milk-based and not cream cheese based, as it has a slight yellow tinge and a milky taste, but honestly- it was still awesome and I would eat this every day and have a heart attack and die happy! Added bonus that P’s & Q’s Market is super cute, the server was SO nice, and there was a guy playing guitar and singing country songs to me while I waited for my roll!

Favorite part: The warm gooeyness of the center, drooooool

Least favorite part: The frosting, while really good, was a bit too condensed-milky
