Sinful Confections

Today I visited Sinful Confections on SW Barbur for their cinnamon roll! This is another gluten-free spot, and (mostly) vegan. The owner, who helped me this morning, told me the cinnamon rolls are one of the few items that were not vegan. I was like- “okee dokee!! give me one of those cinnamon rolls!!” They had just come out of the oven and the whole place smelled amazing. I dug in and was absolutely amazed by the amount of cinnamon goo these had. Probably the gooiest cinnamon rolls I’ve had so far! It’s too bad that the bread is probably my least favorite of all of the gluten-free options I’ve tried, which, unfortunately, tasted like an old boot. But I’ll eat old boot any day covered in massive amounts of cinnamonny goo (yes, I will!) The frosting was pretty good as well, and I could almost recommend these. Hopefully they will work a bit on their bread recipe.

Least favorite part: This gluten free dough needs some work..
