Sunny Day Coffee & Pastry

Today I visited Sunny Day Coffee, a cute bakery cart on NW 23rd and Everett, for their cinnamon roll! I’ve been dying to try this place after finding them on Instagram. They have a pastry menu that changes daily and their pastries look amaaazzzing. I have been waiting for the day when they post a cinnamon roll, and today was that day! This is an Orange Almond Cinnamon Roll, and hoooooly moly it’s SO good. This had a surprisingly tasty orange flavor that went really well with the almond and cinnamon, delicious frosting and plenty of cinnamonny goo inside. The brioche is quite great, I don’t know how they pull this off baking in such a tiny confined space! I chatted a while with the guy working there and he was super nice, I highly recommend this little spot!

Favorite part: Orange and almond are fantastic in a cinnamon roll!

Least favorite part: Hmm, well, I wish they were on the other side of the river!
